Just a sandwich

One of my favorite salads of our parents was a simple salad of cod liver. No Mayo, just egg, onions and cod liver. Sometimes a salad has been added croutons, which anticipated the croutons in the present-day "Caesars".

Then cod liver oil became scarce, salad pozabyla, and the appearance of its stores has brought no joy, the taste was not what he remembered.

But recently, friends brought us from the Far East that most cod liver. Salad we do not have, but, nevertheless, the combination of toast, eggs and sea "foie Gras" has left.
So, slightly nostalgic, simple, quick and tasty snack.

Sandwiches with cod liver and avocado

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bank cod liver
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 3-4 pickled cucumber
  • 3-4 radishes
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt, black pepper
  • bread




How to prepare:

Finely chop the red onion, a little salt, pour 1 tsp lemon juice and leave for 5-10 minutes to marinate.

Boil hard boiled eggs, cool in cold water, peel and cut into 4 pieces. Drain the oil from the jar of cod liver, it is not useful to us.

Avocado peel, slightly mashed with a fork, add salt, sprinkle with rest of lemon juice.

On a dry pan to dry slices of bread. Slice the radish and pickled cucumber slices.





Bread spread a layer of avocado, sprinkle it with red pickled onions, avocado spread on slices of cod liver, egg quarters, radishes and cucumber. Spiced with and have fun.published
