House in the Alpine village
Skupaj Arhitekti Project Office created a private house on the shores of Lake Bohinj in the village of Stara Fuzina, Slovenia. Built on the protected area of Triglav National Park, he takes the place of the former garage.
House of 100 square meters is on a slope and enjoys panoramic views of the mountain valley. His external appearance is similar to the traditional residence of the buildings, but it has a more modern image. Local larch wood is used for facades, interiors and furniture. The first floor of the house is a small but well-organized space. Living in the south-eastern part of the house it is connected with bedrooms on the second floor by ladder aperture and a dressing room. In the west wing designed separate apartments intended for rental, which can then be converted into an extra bedroom.
