This pair of 20 years has built his home island

Once having decided to escape from the bustle of the city, artists King and Adams decided to realize his dream - to build a small house on its own island. The choice fell on a floating island off the coast of British Columbia Vankuper. For more than two decades, the couple spent to equip its quiet, secluded retreat surrounded by nature, and their work is still not finished.

Artists Wayne Adams and Catherine King, live in complete harmony with nature.



1992









A pair of Canada cut off from civilization and lives on a floating island, named "Bay of Liberty».



1998



King and Adams say Bay, drifting off the coast of Vancouver, British Columbia, allowing them to interact with nature without interfering with it.



2015









Their ecological paradise has a greenhouse, an art gallery and a lighthouse - all decorated with recycled materials and painted in bright pink, turquoise and purple colors.







The couple grow your own food in a large garden stretching all the possession and obtain energy from the solar panels line.













"We live our lives in a way that we hope will contribute to the preservation of the environment" - explains King. - "Every day, we try to live faithfully.»
