Monkeys can be racist

Monkeys form strong social bonds, organize their "society" and evince hostility to outsiders. All this is well known for a long time. But recent studies have shown that the cause of this hostility can be a real monkey racism!

Scientists at Harvard University have connected to the sensors, and monkeys showed them pictures of items. It turned out that the photos, in which something that macaque like (for example, an edible fruit), they do not cause any special reaction. But the photograph of something "bad" (poisonous spider), they react quite violently. These reactions are very similar to the type of people's reactions to other races.

Of course, this does not mean that all the monkeys - staunch racist, but argues that negative attitudes to the "alien" embedded in the subconscious, and is one of the mechanisms of evolution. However, humans have evolved already hard enough to "turn off" a feature that simply reasonable grounds.
