Plasmapheresis is used to treat more than forty diseases, including rheumatism, diabetes, acute poisoning, the effects of radiation and chemotherapy, in obstetric practice and so forth.

Technology is as follows: a cyclotron bombarded by inert gas ions of heavy polymer film, causing the deposition of the tracks - the tracks. This damage, but not yet through. The principal difference in the technology is not changing chemical treatment regime bombarded the film temperature, solvent concentration and time of action.

Production of such a film on a new research and production center "Beta" should begin as early as this year. By mid-2013 output should reach the planned level - 1, 6 million nanoplazmofiltrov year.

The filter film with 40 nm pores needed to start production of plants for cascade plasma filtration. This therapeutic measures, which can now boast of only the most advanced medically countries - Japan, Germany and Italy; but their installation work in extremely expensive ($ 50 000 annual rate) fiber filtration technology. The essence of the medical procedure, in both cases is the same and is separated into blood cells and plasma, and then cleaned of harmful plasma proteins and viruses - they are larger than the openings in the filter, - and back into the bloodstream.

Cascade nanofiltration is a promising method of treatment not only for viral diseases, but also for such an extension and murderous diseases, such as atherosclerosis. It is also important that the patient blood purification in the domestic appliance to cascade filtration will cost an order of magnitude cheaper than the devices with fiber technology.
