Mervyn O'Gormanu, a resident of the English county of Dorset, was 42 years old when he made the first color pictures of his daughter Christina with the method autochromes. It is interesting to note that Mervyn O'Gorman quite well in the Engineering business. He was one of the main founders of the aviation industry in the UK. Atmospheric photos, soaked era of the 1910s, brought O'Gormanu no less glory than engineering. A brilliant combination of colors: blond Christina pictured wearing a red bathing suit and coat - all in the best traditions autochromes. Autochrome - one of the first color photography technology, patented Lumiere brothers. To achieve this, photographers have used a conventional potato starch.
