Eco-house in Lithuania

Stylish villa was designed by the architectural firm GYZA in 2014 in the suburbs of Vilnius, Lithuania. The house was 226 square meters. Located on a hillside surrounded by pine forest overlooking the river Neris, the house is presented in a stylish performance.





The main task of the architects was to preserve the existing landscape and building energy-efficient homes, which will be applied a minimum of harm to the environment. Good thermal insulation reduces heat loss in winter and keeps cool in summer and to heat and cool homes installed geothermal system. The roof integrated photovoltaic and solar thermal panels to compensate for the bulk of electricity consumption.
