Wedding procession of 40 motorcycles "Minsk"
26-year-old couple from the province of Dak Lak, in Central Vietnam, tied the knot over the weekend. All the wedding couple had 40 motorcycles "Minsk". The choice fell on the Minsk products not only to remember this day, but also to reduce the cost of renting a wedding car.
Most newlyweds in Vietnam selected vehicles, including limousines, a rite of passage for the bride to the groom's house, which is traditionally held on the eve of the wedding. The ceremony involved the groom, his family, relatives and friends who come to the bride's house and escorted her to the groom's house. Some also purchased three-wheel taxis, horse-drawn carriages or even buffalo.
This pair has chosen for the ritual motorcycles "Minsk". All of them were decorated with flowers and balloons. At the head of the cortege drove the groom, and the rest of the bikes run by the local motorcycle club Minsk Club. From the bride's house to the house of the groom motorcycles drove along the dusty roads of more than 10 kilometers.
Minsk bikes first appeared in Vietnam in the 1970s and is currently used by farmers to transport bulky loads over rough terrain in the mountainous regions, and not only, as well as taxis. Motorcycles "Minsk" have collectors who are united in interest clubs in different cities and provinces of Vietnam.
