Gak - slimy substance, which was first introduced in 1992 by Nickelodeon and was unresponsive even to high temperatures. After contact with the ball of hot nickel Gak began to publish a barely-audible whistle and slowly melt. Metal bowl clean after a minute, but we see that melted only the lower part of the container: Gak himself escaped unscathed.
