To control the drone in the United States may need a pilot's license
The influential Wall Street Journal, citing, as they say in such cases, reliable sources, claims that in the United States for the management of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles will need a pilot's license, with it comes to just about domestic drones, already quite common. At least, the Federal Aviation Administration currently employs regulation of such flights.
Plan to introduce restrictions for light (up to 25 kg) drones, which are operated for commercial purposes. First of all, to manage such a drone operator will need a pilot's license, which is necessary to obtain appropriate training. In addition, the flight of drones is limited to daylight hours, the line of sight of the operator area and a height of just over 120 meters (400 feet).
As they say in such cases, any government agency, such restrictions are imposed to regulate flight drones and for the security of ordinary people who have to deal with the drones willy-nilly. Of course, the community of enthusiasts reacted with skepticism to the planned document, however, because such things are always considered administrative bodies for a long time with all sorts of red tape, we can expect their actual entry into force is not soon.
On the other hand, even such a precedent looks unsafe - there is no guarantee. that the next in line may be quadrocopter (say, massive enough). Then how similar requirements can be met by companies that build business on shipping quadrocopter various goods, is the big question.
