Around its axis

Architectural company Next Office in Tehran created a project of the office building in which a pair of stories revolve on its axis. Rooms revolve to residents during the day at home can tune in to the sunlight so that it shines directly into the window or to move away from the scorching heat.










The design is conceived as a block. If the room is spinning, it is fixed on a rotating basis, where the element is spinning on its axis by mechanical traction.









Well, that Tehran is warm, as constant wear mechanism and the change of weather conditions clearly would lead to premature wear of the building.
