Autumn walks in search of mushrooms

I was on business in Kiev, and decided to visit an old friend. The end of September is the mushroom season. Saturday, day off. The nature of the Kiev region inimitably beautiful.

We were going to go for mushrooms around 6am. As a result, out of the house only 11. The reason for this was not dancing until dawn, without extensive libations, no. The reason was a British Blue cat (at that time - the 6-month kitten) called Bot, who jumped on the bed, waking all of 10 times per night. To drive on the flat plastic cover and rustling bags.



We started searching for mushrooms near the village Khotov.

We decided to go deep into the forest in the vicinity of the railway station Forest (this is not where the metro station of the same name).



On the way, at once began to fall mushrooms. Neither I nor my friend are not specialists in mushrooms, so initially we agreed to take only the tube. Poisonous mushrooms tube in the Kiev region is not. At first I thought it Grebe, but then I suggested that this fungus is called an umbrella and it edible.

The forest itself is fascinating.

As it turned out, this fungus is called Clitocybe Nuda. It is edible. We knew nothing about it, so it did not take.

Unable to find any edible (in our opinion) of the fungus, we decided to move on and went to the area Obukhov. Certainly, many have heard about the Obukhov paper mill.



We stopped near the village of Nescherіv. There are many villas and a beautiful virgin forest.



First comes a young pine forest - it is clear that man-made. Pines grow in orderly rows. Where entire fields of toadstools.



Amanita across huge - some the size of a saucer, and even a small plate.



And these fungi whose names I do not know. They are everywhere.



And such.



Phallic raincoat. They say they are edible and very tasty.



A lot of yellow mushrooms.



Sometimes the forest watery and sometimes comes across a real thicket.



Someone's nest on the ground.



And yet I come across a lot of mushrooms with brown heads. Unfortunately, I do not know their names.



Sometimes we had to wade through a windbreak. Judging by the trampled down paths, the place is not very wild. Getting lost here we have not really afraid of - using Google maps + GPS.



The whole forest between the village about 2 to 3 kilometers. Do not get lost.
And here it is - a real mushroom! This polish mushroom. Mushroom of the genus Mokhovikov (for some classification - of the genus Boletus) - a relative of white fungus!



The same delicious and fragrant. We came to a clearing, and has become the ultimate goal of our campaign.



Here we gained about 5 kg of mushrooms.



It turned a little away from hiking trails.



Zatar mushrooms, we went back (5 kg - two nehily package). On the way back we began to appear paradise apples.



Once back in Nescherіv - began sickly rain.



And then just 10 minutes later the sun came out.

The expert found that no toxic substances and, in principle, suitable for the fungus games.



Then the mushrooms were a decoction.



And fried potatoes. To be honest, I rarely eat such yummy. I have everything :)
