Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on Monday made a written appeal to the authorities in Kiev due to the sharply aggravated situation in the east of the country.

According Received ITAR-TASS text of the document, he demanded to "immediately withdraw all armed forces of Ukraine to places of permanent deployment, to withdraw to the east of the country aimed to groups of so-called National Guard, dressed in military uniforms, armed with automatic weapons and grenades, as well as immediately start peaceful dialogue with extended population of the eastern regions of the leaders in order to maintain life support systems out there ».

"The use of weapons in eastern Ukraine nothing will change. People are offended. You called millions of people as terrorists. The people have no other way but to fight for their rights, their lives and their children, "- said in the text of the appeal.
