Sugar locks Lionel Skotsimaro
These locks are more likely to withstand the elements than castles in the air, but also not durable when suddenly it starts to rain. French artist Lionel Skotsimaro (Lionel Scoccimaro) creates unusual installation of sugar cubes. A big fan of extreme sports: skateboarding and surfing, the artist finds a lot of pleasure in his work. Lionel says, he finally found a way of expression and reception of weight of pleasure from creativity.
Over the years his work has created a lot of Lionel sculptures and designs of sugar. But his sugar castles, perhaps, the most massive structure of the sugar. Installation takes 40 square meters and the construction of locks took 400 pounds of sugar. Here is a sweet art of Lionel Skotsimaro.
