Robot in the country, a reality?

The Finnish company Valtra has introduced a concept tractor RoboTrac, which is controlled by means of GPS-navigation and the Internet.





The idea belongs to Valtra RoboTrac 25-year-old industrial designer from Estonia Hannes Seebergu (Hannes Seeberg). The tractor is equipped with 85-horsepower diesel engine, rear samopodrulivayuschey axis, and can be either front- or all-wheel drive. Its length is 4235 mm, width - 2310 mm, and height - 2170 millimeters. Fuel tank capacity is 200 liters.



At the command transmitted via the Internet and a navigation system, RoboTrac able to cultivate the land on their own, work the soil, plant the seeds, to irrigate crops and so on. "Clever" tractor, according to its creators, cares for the harvest and to minimize damage to the fruit.
