State Nature Reserve - a chain of volcanic islands between the n ew Kamchatka and on. Hokkaido (Japan); separates the Sea of Okhotsk from the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Sakhalin Region (Russian Federation). The length of about 1,200 km. The area is about 15, 6 sq. M. km.

There really amazing nature! There are waterfalls and volcanoes and geysers, lakes usual unique fish. On some islands, even growing bamboo. Very many plants are listed as endangered.

Looking at all this beauty you realize that no Japanese can not give it.
