guess who
What is it and who?
Aardvark or African (Cape) aardvark (lat. Orycteropus afer) - mammal, the only modern representative of the detachment aardvark (Tubulidentata).
Initially aardvark due to several conspicuous features of the structure has been ascribed to the same family as the South American anteaters, but superficial resemblance to them was the result of convergent evolution - Power tools termites and ants.
At the time, the Dutch colonists gave the name of the aardvark "Aard-WARC", which means "earth pig." Aardvark burrows well, he is considered one of the top "diggers" in the world. Despite the fact that aardvarks are sometimes hunted for their meat, tastes like pork, firm skin and teeth, this type is not among protected. Its population is not precisely known, but, presumably, is gradually reduced. In some areas (especially agriculture), it is almost completely cut off.
