Until March 20, at the Novosibirsk Museum "Siberian elm", an exhibition of erotic bark sculpture and graphics "Slavic erotic: the grass at the bottom of the river." The project will introduce the audience with the presentation of the Kemerovo and Sverdlovsk artists of romantic relationships Slavs.
The exhibition includes 20 sculptures masters from Novokuznetsk Khakhalin Victor, who died in 2009, and 17 reproductions of graphics Nikolai Fomin from the Forest of the Sverdlovsk region. "The exhibition is timed to the spring holidays. The artist reflected on the meaning of the sacred eroticism in Slavic culture. Results of deliberation became philosophical, satirical, romantic and mischievous works performed in the author's recognizable techniques, "- said Anna Ivanova, adding that the exhibits lack of vulgarity and tastelessness.
According to Ivanov, birchbark Khakhalin collection after his death passed to storage in the Museum bark and original graphic works of Nikolai Fomin owned by a private collector, who recently put them in the Tomsk "Museum of mythology."
