Tank forces of the Baltic countries
Many here are joking, saying that the Estonians lend to the teachings of the only tank in Latvia. I decided to look into this matter. And you know, actually, it's not so bad. So let's take a look at the armored forces of the Baltic countries:
1. Latvia.
2. Latvia has three T-55 tanks. The tanks donated by the Czech Republic and used as training to familiarize infantry and anti-tank forces. It should be noted that the tanks are taking part in numerous exercises with the participation of NATO countries.
3. Unfortunately, at the moment one of the Latvian tanks are not on the move. Cannon others not in working condition.
And by the way, in the coming years it is going to Latvia to purchase tanks at 70 million. (Comrades wildly sorry !!! not billions, but millions !!!) euros. Already signed a protocol of intent to purchase for Latvian National Armed Forces at the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom 120 malopolzovanyh combat tracked vehicles.
So, I advise you not to relax.
Thank you, I'm finished.
