Gardens Markessaka

Markessaka gardens - garden and park facilities in the French commune of Vezac, located in the department of Dordogne Aquitaine administrative region.





Each of us, of course, heard a story about one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. But it turns out that in our days among connoisseurs of landscape art have the opportunity to enjoy something similar, namely Markessaka Gardens (Jardins de Marqueyssac), which, because of its location on top of the hill are also considered hanging.



Is this gorgeous park complex area of ​​22 hectares in the small town of Vezac relating to one of the French departments - the Dordogne. It was here at the end of the XVII century of Louis XIV adviser Bertrand de Vernet Markessakom was built Belvedere Castle, around which broke the magnificent boxwood garden.
