June 1 - one of the oldest international holidays: the decision to hold it was made in 1949. First International Children's Day was held in 1950. This day is not only noisy and cheerful celebration of the kids, but also a reminder to the public of the need to observe and respect the rights of the child, as a necessary condition for the formation of a humane, equitable and prosperous society.
