China's "Road to Heaven"
There is the world's roads, which is not that scary ride - scared to even look.
If anyone ever gave hits such roads, the Chinese "Road to Heaven" (also known as "The Way of the great gate") in the Tien Shan Meng, Hunan Province, would be at the top of the list. The lowest portion thereof at 200 meters below sea level, and the highest - above 1300 meters.
It is not surprising that its construction took eight years, starting with the 1998.
Its twists and turns is clearly not for the faint of heart.
The road climbs the hill south of the city of Zhangjiajie Tianmen, and is one of the most spectacular sights in Hunan Province.
