New crater on Mars
Long life MRO unit allows us to see the changes that occur on the Red Planet, such as this relatively new and quite large crater, a width of 30 meters. Scientists believe that as a result of collision fragments scattered over a distance of 15 kilometers. Having studied the pictures of the area "before" and "after", scientists have found that a new crater was formed between July 2010 and May 2012. In the image processing applied artificial coloring, so the new crater appears blue due to the fact that the reddish dust that covers almost the entire surface of Mars, it has not yet been covered.
