Rural Power
Not far from the house is located Chernyshevy unique place - Yaropoletskaya HPP. It was built in November 1919. According to rumors, local peasants were eager theater-lighting effects for its performances and its own built its own power 10 kW
GES has worked up until 30 October 1941, when the German invaders entered Yaropolets and blew it. In memory of the old hydroelectric saved bent explosion turbine shaft:
Forces locals regained power in 1959 and until 1980 she worked as a part of the total power.
Usually powerhouse closed on the lock, but the keeper made an exception for me and spoke in detail about the structure and history of the place. The building consists of two rooms - the living and the generator.
The belt connects the flywheel generator has long lost, the flywheel is spinning, but the impeller is jammed:
For many years, then I want to make the museum, but for some reason do not. Therefore, the caretaker is very happy when someone comes to watch the dam.
Actually this place would have long forgotten, if not local waterfall - a must visit any local wedding.
In real life, the summer is bathed local children and adult fish.
The place is beautiful and soothing.
