79-year-old German has about forty years every day growls, howls and tears teeth raw meat. Disappointed with the people, a man went to live with wolves, becoming predators leader.
Just look at these pictures to see who is the leader of the wolf pack in Germany. 79-year-old Werner Freund was the leader of the pack, which numbers 29 wolves. For nearly forty years, a former paratrooper lives among wolves in his shelter in Merzig, Germany.

Carnivorous animals with caution and distrust related to all people behave playfully and humbly with Werner, who for many years proves its dominance of the pack. In 1972, Werner Freund founded a sanctuary for wolves in Merzig, in the German province of Saarland, where wolves contains six different species found around the world. Among them are individuals living in Europe, Siberia, Canada, the Arctic and Mongolian regions. Most of them look quite similar, only the white arctic wolves are very different from all the others.
At feeding time, Werner should try first prey and not let any of hungry wolves closer to themselves and prey to retain the respect of the pack. It is for this reason they do not attack him, but instead licked his face and behave playfully, as he feeds them.
Werner Wolf created reserve "Park Werner Freund wolf", which is located on an area of over 25 hectares, and has grown more than 70 animals in the last forty years. Wolves acquired cubs in zoos or reserves, have been grown and nurtured them.
