Great Papanov
Anatoli Papanov born October 31, 1922 in Viazma. After moving to Moscow Anatoly worked caster factory. In his free time engaged in amateur theater in the studio at the factory. Went to the front from the first days of the war. In 1942, after being wounded returned and entered the acting department GITISa. In 1946, after graduating GITISa left in Klaipeda, a new theater, where his first role was Sergei Tyulenin in the "Young Guard." Married actress Nadezhda Karatayeva. Their daughter, Helen Papanova also became an actress. In 1948 Papanov enters Satire Theater in Moscow. In this theater Anatoly created more than fifty images. Some of the performances were recorded on film. In 1973 he received the title of "People's Artist of the USSR."
Anatoly Papanov been successful in different roles, singing and drama, and character roles not only in the theater. He has acted in films. His debut was a bit part in the film "Lenin in October" (1937), then it was some more work, but they were all small. This success and recognition in the cinema came to Papanova after filming the adaptation of Konstantin Simonov "The Living and the Dead," directed A.Stolpera. The film won first place at the box office in 1964 and was awarded prizes at festivals in Karlovy Vary and Acapulco. Following this success, the demand for an actor Papanova of directors has increased dramatically, and he played brilliantly as a dramatic and comedic roles. Among the most famous films with his uchastiem- it: "Beware of the Car" (1966), "Retribution" (1967), "The Diamond Arm" (1968), "Two Comrades Were Serving" (1968), "The adjutant of his excellency" (1969 ), "Byelorussian Station" (1970), "Gentlemen of Fortune" (1971), "12 chairs" (1976), "For family reasons" (1977), "Time of desires" (1984) and many others
In total he participated in the creation of more than seventy films and voicing a hundred cartoons (especially his voice says Wolf in, "Well, wait a minute!"). Taught in GITIS. Released a CD as a singer of songs.
Anatoli Papanov died Aug. 7 (according to other sources - August 5), 1987 in Moscow on the 65-year life of a heart attack, was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery. And already in 1989 he was awarded the posthumous title of laureate of the USSR State Prize for his role in the film "Cold Summer of fifty-three", which was the last work in film Papanova ...
