Students at Stanford University was given the task: to earn $ 600 in 2 hours.

Each of the fourteen teams received an envelope with five dollars "seed money" and two hours. Upon completion of the tasks each team had three minutes for a presentation of its decision.

There were proposals to open an impromptu car wash or tray for the sale of soft drinks - in these cases, $ 5 would be used for the purchase of materials and products to get started. Quite decent options for those who would like to earn some money for a few hours.

However, the team earned the most money, did not use starting 5 dollars. They understood that this amount, in essence, does not help them, and decided to look at the problem more broadly, "What if we start with a full ground?».

One group drew attention to the problem inherent in a variety of campuses - long queues in front of popular restaurants on a Saturday night, and decided to help people who do not want to wait. Team members have booked several tables in restaurants. With the onset of the appointed hour, they were selling for $ 20 right at the entrance to the restaurant wanting to get there immediately.

Another team came even easier. They put in front of the Student Union a special rack and take a free bicycle to measure the pressure in the tires. Room service is the first few customers, the team realized that cyclists were incredibly grateful. Despite the possibility of free swap space and the simplicity of the operation, the new service show customers a convenient and valuable. In fact, an hour after the start of the team stopped to take a fixed fee and asked instead to pay the amount that the client would consider appropriate. Profit immediately increased several times.

Each of these projects brought the team a few hundred dollars, and it's pretty impressed others. However, one team was able to earn as much as $ 650 they were able to look at the available resources at their disposal a completely different angle.

These students have determined that the most valuable resource of them - it's not $ 5 and two hours and three minutes presentation on Monday, and this time decided to sell a company that wanted to invite students to work. They have created a three-minute promotional video of the company and showed his students instead of the story about his actions during the previous week. It was a great solution (which is not even thinking everyone else).

And how would you act ?!
