The village is in the giant boulders

Portuguese village Monsanto (Monsanto) is unique not only for the country but for the continent and its location. It is literally wedged between a huge number of massive boulders.

And so closely spaced houses and boulders - even a little afraid of life for the local Aboriginal people. View of the village has remained unchanged for centuries. And only when we look at the question arises, who is in charge here - boulders or people? The village of Monsanto (Monsanto) has been recognized by the Portuguese as the most Portuguese village. This happened back in 1938. And since it is considered a living museum. To get there is quite problematic, all because of the same boulders.
