Jay Air Menkoff (JR Mankoff) lived and was born in Michigan. Here, at Michigan State University, received a bachelor's degree in "Visual Arts". He started his career as an assistant to the photographer of these "gurus" photos, as Norman Jean Roy and Max Vedukul. Menkoff has been actively involved in various art projects that involve not only the photos. At the moment, the photographer lives in two places - in Manhattan, New York and Los Angeles.
