Feel like Gulliver

Back in 1927 Mr. Roland Kallingem, an accountant from London, and a fan of toy railroads instructed his gardener to create his own backyard pond and build tennis courts. Roland had planned to organize there receptions and parties but his wife suggested that instead of the garden to create a huge mock towns and bring back the railway. The idea was supported and here in 1929, a huge layout of British villages with the railway between the two has been opened to the public.

Aerodrome, in the 90s there was a betonka jetliner but recently decided to return to the old-fashioned way, and right now it looks more beautiful with green grass.

In the construction we were involved all the family, servants and friends. Everyone tried to add something different, special but not copying the existing buildings. No one tried to make it all just like in the real world and it's probably one and created a nice image of the place that lovingly preserved to this day.

Royal Castle

In 1934, rumors of Bekonscot reached the royal palace and then a young eight-year-Princess Elizabeth visited this wonderful place. Since then, Mr. Kallingema garden became a very popular place. Here we are with her daughter last month stopped there to spend the weekend. Then I publish a lot of pictures to give a slight idea what a Bekonscot Model Village but it's better to see it live. Will London be sure to bring their children with them here, I think they will be delighted.
