A man armed with an automatic rifle opened fire on customers shopping mall in Omaha, Nebraska.
The shooter was on the balcony of the third floor of the shopping center Von Maur. Within 6 minutes, he was shot fire on shoppers. Eight people were killed and five were wounded, two of them are in critical condition.
The gunman committed suicide. His motives and the name is not yet known.
Police arrived at the building of the shopping center after it received a call from one of the visitors. By the time the police arrived, the shooting ended.
An hour before the incident served from Omaha who was there for a short visit by President Bush.
