Every year in the largest women's prison in Colombia in Bogota Good Shepherd held a beauty contest in honor of the Virgin - patron saint of prisoners. The competition is accompanied by a masquerade, and rated it broadcast on television inferior to many popular shows.
Miss prisoners in 2008 became Juri Uribe (Yury Uribe), who is serving five years for drug trafficking.
