The original hotel opened in New York City - Holiday Inn's Key Card Hotel.
Hall, bathroom and toilet are made from 200,000 plastic cards.
The record is already recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Two-ton construction in Manhattan, an area of 400 square feet, will run until 21 September.
