One of the world's most popular beer festivals - Oktoberfest, which annually attracts thousands of visitors to Munich, has a long history. This year it will be 200 years. Opening the festival began on 17 September in the central part of the city, Terezino meadow, named in honor of Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghauzenskoy.
