Cabbage salad

To prepare a winter salad, you will need:
  • 1 head of medium-sized white cabbage
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 1 large yellow or red Bulgarian pepper
  • 1 large bulb
  • 100–125 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt (with slide)
  • 125–150 ml of apple cider vinegar (5–6%)
  • vegetable-oil

Preparation
  1. Cabbage should be juicy, otherwise the salad will be tough. You'll do the vegetables first. Finely insert cabbage, crush carrots on a large grater, cut into thin strips of peppers and small cubes - onions.

  2. Prepared vegetables put in a deep bowl or pan and thoroughly crushed with your hands. Must be plenty of juice.
  3. Then start the brine. You combine water, sugar and salt, put it on the fire, and when the solution boils, you pour vinegar.

  4. You fill the vegetables with hot brine and mix well. In the cooled salad add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil, to taste. The dish will be more spicy and useful if you squeeze a tooth or two of garlic into it. But without the garlic, it's delicious. You can eat right away.
