Preparation

  2. Dried mint crushed with a knife, add finely sliced lemon, sugar and water. Stir thoroughly. Leave the mixture infused overnight in the fridge.



  3. Strain the mint through 4 layers of gauze, pressing well the liquid from the pulp.



  4. Pour the syrup into a pot and put it on the fire. Let him boil for 10 minutes.



  5. Add a thickener for jam and boil until it is completely dissolved. Remove from the fire and pour 5-6 drops of green dye.
  6. Pour the jam on pre-sterilized cans and close the lids.





Without green dye, the jam will be yellow-brown. Therefore, I recommend adding chlorophyll to get a beautiful bright hue, as well as for enrichment with useful substances. This natural pigment is absolutely harmless and even has a positive effect on the body, removing various toxins. You can find it in pharmacies or online stores of healthy food.
