Every year on November 26, the Orthodox Church celebrates the Day of St. John Chrysostom – Archbishop of Constantinople, theologian and one of the three Ecumenical Hierarchs along with Basil the Great and Gregory the Theologian. The last words of St. John, “Glory to God for everything!”, spoken in exile in terrible physical torment, became a real symbol of faith.
