Grape planting
Planting grapes itself is not very difficult. The secret of a good harvest, in the right variety and soil. The cuttings of a one-year-old fruit-bearing vine are called chubuka. Planting takes place in the spring, in May. Chewbuki get out in April, a month before landing and first check how they survived the winter. This process should not be neglected, the quality of the harvest depends on it.
In a healthy chubuka, the emerald green color of wood is clearly visible on the cut, when pressed, a drop of moisture will enter. The kidneys are elastic, swollen, green foliage in the cannon is seen inside when the incision is made. When the color of the foliage is dark, black, the kidney dies. If such a majority, the planting material is considered unsuitable. The cuttings are removed two days before landing and immersed in water. Within two days, the water balance of the future vine will be fully restored. The planting pit for a new grape bush should be deep, consisting of several layers:
  • 10 cm for drainage or rubble.
  • 20-30 cm is occupied by fertile soil, which is better mixed with humus.
  • 10 cm planting soil, which is laid immediately. And 40 cm will remain to accommodate the chubuka itself. That's about 80 cm.

Such a pit is prepared at least three weeks before landing, but ideally in the fall, so that the soil is tamped. After preparing the place, you should pour at least two buckets of water abundantly. Then you can start disembarking the material.
The finished cutting looks as follows: size 20 cm, excess vine is missing. The upper section at an angle to the reverse side of the kidney, higher by 2-3 cm. The lower section is flat, the distance to the kidney is only 1 cm. The cutting is placed in a prepared hole, filled with earth, which must be tightly tamped and abundantly filled with water. When the moisture is absorbed, the planting is again filled with moist soil so that a hill of about 15 cm forms above the chubuka. Soon the kidney will open and the first shoots will sprout.
