Than you can risk...
Invitation to ispovedanie the chief of an Indian tribe Oriya... Is a prose poem, written in 1994, Oriah Mountain Dreamer, a canadian teacher, 15 years recruited wisdom from native American elders.
I don't care how you earn your bread
I want to know what your heart suffer a lot,
and do you dare to reach for what it longs.
I still young or old you are
I want to know if you can take the risk
make a fool of myself
for love, for dreams
for the sake of the adventure that is this life.
I do not care what planets were orbiting your moon
I want to know put if you to the nitty gritty of his grief
opened if you're after betrayals of life
or are you dried up and closed
fear of future pain.
I want to know if you can freeze along with the pain
my or your
without a single movement to hide it
or discolor it
or to rectify it.
I want to know if you can rejoice before the joy
my or your
if you can whirl in a wild dance
allow the ecstasy to sink you to the tips of your hair
not admonishing us to be careful
to look at things realistically,
and remember that a human being is limited.
All I care is a lie if your story or not
I want to know if you can disappoint another
to stay true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusations of betrayal
but do not betray your own soul.
Can you be bezverny
and therefore a person on whom you can rely on.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not every day beauty.
And if you can make her presence
the source of his life.
I want to know if you can live with failure
your and my
and be able to be on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon
"Yes."
I still
where do you live and how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up early in the morning
after a night full of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and to do the necessary chores
to feed the children.
I don't care who you know or how you got here.
I want to know if you can stand in the center of the fire with me
and not shrinking.
I don't care where, what or with whom you studied
I want to know what the source continues to givit you from the inside
when everything else falls off and disappears.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself
do you have a company that you yourself are
in moments filled with emptiness.published
