In China was born a new brand of electric cars - YUDO

Fujian Motors Group Co., Ltd 27 February presented in Beijing a new brand in the world of electric vehicles: YUDO. This project is the fruit of joint cooperation of several companies and has been a key project of Fujian province (to the shareholders of the company there is a provincial government). At the presentation were presented two fully production-ready electric vehicle, the received coded representations π1 and π3.





 

These machines will be officially presented to the public at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017.

π3 is a mid-size SUV in the style of Japanese Lexus

Its features are as follows: maximum torque 270N.m motor power 40 kW, lithium batteries allow the car to drive up to 300 miles without recharging.
The electric car will be available for purchase in China in November this year. At this period it will become the flagship product of the company. After the planned expansion in Europe, America, Japan, Africa and Australia.

In developing these electric vehicles, the company abandoned the outdated method of placement of the flap for the charging — side, as machines with internal combustion engine and placed the ports in a single front hatch.





 

 

π1, smaller electric car that aims to lower the threshold purchase price and thus reach more potential buyers. It will have two configurations: an urban version of π1 with battery capacity of 24 kWh, acceleration from 0 to 50 km / h in approximately 6 seconds, maximum range is 200 km; Intercity π1, will be equipped with a battery of 40 kW h, acceleration from 0 to 50 km / h in less than 4.5 s the battery time of up to 330 km





 

This model should go on sale from July this year. Currently, Fujian province is completed, the plant production capacity of 80,000 electric cars a year.
