Winter bathing in Germany
We have decided to plunge into the ice-hole on Epiphany, and in Germany, too, has a similar tradition. 6 Jan brave people plunged into the cold waters of lake Heidesee in East Germany. It was 6 degrees below zero, but the brave smiled at the camera and showed chunks of ice from the lake. This sight was very amused observers on the shore who are wrapped in warm jackets and hats.
