Fuel cell technology, Bloom Energy is changing the approach to clean energy production
Fuel cells are one of the most advanced technologies, which, when the corresponding value can approach to the highly efficient generation of energy and to stand on a par with solar and wind.
Through technological innovation, fuel cell technology is approaching commercialization at a much faster pace than previously expected.
One of the main advantages of fuel cells that offer consumers is the ability to efficiently generate energy in homes and offices, giving greater control over energy use while reducing the requirements to the electrical network.

Bloom Energy, whose headquarters is located in Sunnyvale, California, aims to modernize the energy sector and to bring it to a cleaner and more reliable energy model.
Bloom Energy KR Sridhar founded in 2001, makes fuel cells based on energy product called "Energy Server" that generates energy by chemical reactions of natural gas and biogas produced from the methane obtained from the decomposition of organic substances, it is called landfill gas.
The company sold its energy servers are major retailers and tehnologicheskogo sector, such as Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Apple, eBay and Google.

Morgan Stanley and Bloom Energy has completed the project to equip the fuel cell main headquarters of Morgan Stanley in times square of new York city. Installation of fuel cells at 750 kW located at 1585 Broadway is fully functional and provides about 6 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per year, according to a press release from the company.
"We are very pleased to be here today. This project not only provides clean and reliable electricity in the headquarters of Morgan Stanley, but also shows how this unique type of clean energy can be applied in office buildings to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, significantly reduce local forms of air pollution, and increase the efficiency of the electrical network," said KR Sridhar, founder and CEO of Bloom Energy.
Each Server provides 250 kilowatts of electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
How does Energy Server?
It is several fuel cells, which use oxygen and fuel to produce electricity with zero emissions. They are made of sand that is baked into diskette in the form of ceramic squares, ukrashenie green or black ink.
Each fuel cell has the potential to power one light bulb. Fuel cells are stacked by the type of bricks in the battery and sandwiched by metal plates.
The fuel cell is placed in a refrigerator. Oxygen is being drawn from one side of the unit, and fuel (fossil fuel, biofuels, or even solar energy can be used) served with drugs side. Two components soedinyayutsya inside a fuel cell where a chemical reaction takes place in which energy is generated without any combustion and power lines.
Bloom Energy currently has more than 400 projects throughout the United States, Japan and India, including twenty-one projects in the state of new York. published
