Quick recipe of fragrant ginger jam

This simple recipe of ginger jam — the perfect preparation for the winter. This jam is the perfect complement to white fish, cheese or just toast for Breakfast. Ginger — a wonderful spice with a unique taste and strong aroma. Besides, this magical root has a unique anti-inflammatory properties.





Ingredients:

  • 250g ginger
  • 125g icing sugar
  • 125ml water
  • 1 small green chili pepper
  • Sterilized jars




Preparation:

1.Chop the ginger in a food processor.

2. Place the ginger in a saucepan together with the icing sugar and water. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 30-45 minutes until jam is slightly thickened. 10 minutes before you remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped pepper.

3. Roll up into sterilized jars. Jam be stored for 2-3 months.
