London Olympics Aquatic Center 2012 by Lego

The 2012 Olympic Games, which are currently being held in London, each sports connoisseur pays tribute in his own way. Someone collects articles and magazines about their favorite athletes, their photos or sculptures, does not miss a single report from the stadium. And if recently we wrote about a copy of the Olympic stadium, made of Lego, today we will talk about another Lego sculpture dedicated to the Olympics, namely the Olympic water area of the London Aquatics Centre.

The author of this large-scale Lego sculpture was the artist Gary Davis. From thousands of bricks of the popular Lego designer, he built a carefully detailed replica of the London Water Centre, where water sports contestants compete. Towers, dressing rooms, rest rooms, places for spectators, judges, journalists and photographers, as well as toy figures of athletes - the author did not forget to include anything in this sculpture of amazing accuracy.

The little toy athletes at the Olympics Aquatic Center compete in synchronized swimming and diving, breaststroke and butterfly swimming, and other water sports. Here, the winners receive awards, give toy autographs to toy fans, relax, train, communicate with colleagues and coaches. Everything is as it is in reality, in a real London water center, here is only made of a designer and fits in a large box.
