Saturday art: colored stairs of Beirut

The people of any, even the most beautiful city in the world, certainly would like to space their habitat was even more colorful and unusual. Only someone waits until these changes come on his street, and someone takes the process into their own hands, as did the inhabitants of Beirut on the initiative of the creative Association Dihzahyners.

Beirut — it is certainly not the poorest areas of Brazil. It is a modern town, a real decoration of the Middle East. But he could use a similar upgrade in appearance. It took members of the art collective Dihzahyners and residents of Lebanon's capital.

Art Association Dihzahyners invited all interested citizens of Beirut to take part in the action called Paint up! the essence of which consisted in painting in bright colors of several city staircases.

The first of these, consisting of steps 73, located in the Beirut district of Mar Michael. On its transformation into an art object, participants Dihzahyners and volunteer groups took about seven hours and several dozen liters of paint.

During this time the steps got a bright geometric pattern, turning from a grey, plain design in one of the ornaments of Mar Michael and the whole of Beirut.

Armed with the success of the first action Paint up! creative Association Dihzahyners decided not to stop there. After all, in Beirut there is still a huge number of other, intact stairways and a large number of people who are willing to spend their time and their strength to make the hometown brighter and more colorful. Here it is — the real meaning of the Saturdays!
