The future of our transportation
At the moment you are looking at the future of our transportation, Next Modular Self Driving Vehicle by designer Tommaso Gecchelin (Tommaso Gecchelin). It's a concept transportation that encourages people to interact with each other by combining several modules to create a more spacious and comfortable space while traveling.
In accordance with the data of different studies of the self-moving vehicle is 99% safer than human driven. In addition, it is also cheaper compared to taxi, controlled by the driver. Therefore, the author chose self-government in the management of his creation.
Equipped with function of custom settings, Next Modular Self Driving Vehicle allows you to control the destination, combined with other modules, speed limit and much more.
In addition, each module is equipped with a laser locator, lithium-air batteries and lamps with light-emitting diodes based on quantum dots. But for maximum impact protection the housing of each module is coated with aluminum foam.
The volume of one module is 7.2 cubic meters, with the floor surface in an upright position – 3 sq. m. In the horizontal position of the floor surface is increased to 4.8 sq m and the module accommodates 5 passengers with Luggage total weight not exceeding 900 kg.
While that is not completely clear on the process of management of these modules and the procedure for their joining, but the idea is certainly awesome and will probably be developed in the future in one form or another.
