Tindholmur, is one of the Islands constituting the Faroe Islands. It got its name from the five peaks Utti, Arnie, Little, bree and Boji (farthest, eagle, Small, Broad and Shallow).Tindholmur, totally uninhabited.

The area of the island, Tindholmur in the Faroe Islands is 6,500 square metres and the highest peak is located on top of 262 meters.

According to legend, there once lived a family of men, women and a small child. One day when father was at sea and fished, flew the eagle, grabbed the child and dragged it into her nest on one of the peaks. The mother so loved her child that rose to the top to eagles nest, to save him. Unfortunately, when she got to the top, an eagle pecked out the eyes of a child. She managed to save him, but he soon died of his wounds. After this incident the couple left the island and no one there ever lived.

Most likely this story is a simple myth, but relatively it has some interesting facts. One of the peaks Tindholmur is called "eagle" and open on the island suggest that he really had once inhabited.

The rock itself, stretching from the island, is called Lyricsmode.
