Bicycle helmet protects the eyes

Dux Helm, the company presented its new development – bike helmet with retractable tinted visor, designed to protect the eyes of the cyclist from the sun, wind, rain, insects and other adverse eye factors. If necessary, the visor can be raised or lowered via the slider. And if you want to clean the visor from the accumulated dirt, it can easily be removed with just one push of a button.

Helmet itself has a familiar appearance, skeletal structure, but there is another significant feature – the presence of 24 vents, not allowing the rider to stay cool during such an active pastime. For protection from external damage the foam material is coated with polycarbonate on the outside, and the inside of the used 7-millimeter mesh lining Coolmax material.

But this is not the last in the authors ' aspiration to protect the owner of their helmet against any risks. To increase visibility of the cyclist on the road in the dark back of the helmet is covered in reflective photoluminescent paint.

Thus, the company looked at the bike, not as a means for an easy walk with the wind, and as a source of danger for its owner. That's probably why the developers borrowed many ideas from motorcycle helmets to find many similarities between bike and motorcycle. And no wonder, because Cycling can sometimes be much more dangerous, as due to its lightness it does not able to protect the cyclist, for example, when hit by a car.

It is planned that this wonderful helmet will be available for purchase in November. The cost of its standard, including the regular smoked visor will be $179. You can also purchase additional visors in various shades for around $35.
