Chess boxing
As the name suggests, the game combines two sports – boxing and chess. The game lasts from eleven rounds. Each round consists of four minutes of chess, followed by a three-minute boxing match. The winner is determined by the number of points earned in both sports.
If one of the participants sends the other to a knockout or checkmate, he will automatically become the winner. Athletes claim that switching from intellectual to physical is very difficult.
Extreme ironing
This is probably the craziest sport. Its essence lies in the usual ironing, but participants iron things in unusual and inaccessible places: the seabed, a rock, a kayak or the roof of a car.
World Nettle Eating Championship This championship takes place in the UK. It is attended by a large number of athletes. The winner is the one who first eats all the leaves from two large nettle bushes. Considering that after an hour of eating such a plant in the mouth of the participants something incredible happens, and then another week the athletes feel the effect of this competition, one can only be puzzled by the number of people who take part in it.
Stone, scissors, paper.
These days, it is no longer just a game, it is now the official game where the World Championships are held every year.
Hundreds of participants from different parts of the world come to Toronto to play this famous game. The cost of participation is about $25, and the prize fund pours into a rather impressive amount.
Underwater hockey
The world-famous ice game was brought under water. The rules remained almost the same: as before, two teams play, who chase a puck weighing 1.36 kilograms on the bottom of the pool with 30-centimeter sticks. Two halves of 15 minutes. The whole point is that players periodically need to surface for a breath of fresh air.
