Scientists have invented a Hoop from migraine
Scientists from the University of liège in Belgium found that wearing wrap Cefaly for 30 minutes a day can get rid of the headache that has plagued millions of people all over the world.
Professor Jean Shonen reported that this device has a thin silver Hoop, which is worn on the forehead, attaching the ears. Patients wear once a day for 30 minutes. This device delivers an electrical pulse to the supraorbital nerve that controls the sensations of the eyes and around them.
The experiments have shown that those who use this device one-third less likely to have had painful headaches a few months later, and the number of people who have decreased migraine attacks by 60%, increased in 3 times. Like the Professor said Shonen, such treatment carries no side effect. He claims that the results were simply spectacular Hoop repeats the action of medications used for headaches. But often migraine medication cause a negative reaction that force people to stop to take them, and this development according to scientists harmless.
In the experiments, the scientists was attended by 70 people, who on average had 5 headaches per month. In the course of the experiment, researchers monitored volunteers for five weeks when they did not receive any treatment. Then the volunteers took each day 30-minute electrical stimulation for 3 months, or used a "fake" device. Levels deliver electrical impulses to "fake" the device was so low that had no effect. Those who received stimulation, three months of observations fewer days suffering migraines than those who didn't get it.
